Special Guest: Kristen Cronin, CEO & Co-Founder of Chief Collective

If you’re feeling buried by your calendar, juggling fires, and telling yourself “I’m just too busy,” it’s time to stop and ask a harder question:
Are you busy—or just misaligned?
That was the bold challenge posed by this week’s guest, Kristen Cronin, CEO and Co-Founder of Chief Collective. Kristen coaches high-performing CEOs, entrepreneurs, and sales professionals on what she calls aligned action—a method that cuts through busyness and drives meaningful results.
Start With the Story You’re Telling Yourself
Kristen opened with a powerful truth: “Your calendar doesn’t lie. It reflects what you believe you deserve.” If your schedule is overbooked or totally blank, that’s not just a logistics problem—it’s a mindset one.
“Prioritizing isn’t about time management. It’s about alignment with your purpose.” — Kristen CroninWhether you’re filling your day with low-dollar activities or hesitating to take action, Kristen challenged the group to get honest about the story behind the behavior:
- Are you saying yes because you’re afraid to disappoint?
- Are you stuck in tasks because you feel you don’t deserve more?
- Are you clinging to the idea that being overwhelmed = being important?
Try This:
Ask yourself, What’s the story I’m telling myself about my time—and who gave me that story in the first place?
Then change it.
Your Calendar is Your Mirror
Kristen urged agents to “audit their calendars like a bank statement.” Are you investing your time in high-leverage activities? Do you have prep time, buffer time, and focus time—or is your life just reactive chaos?
Her biggest tips:
- Block time for planning. Don’t just schedule the appointment—schedule time to prepare.
- Build in recovery. Kristen doesn’t take meetings after 4 PM so she can catch up and reset.
- Honor your non-negotiables. That includes personal time, family, workouts, and even lunch.
- Use tech to help. Shared calendars, apps like Family Wall, and AI tools can create breathing room fast.
Why Identity Matters More Than Time Hacks
The conversation dug deep into identity and self-worth. According to Kristen, many people unknowingly set goals based on what they believe they’re worthy of—not what they’re actually capable of.
“Most agents I coach know what to do. They’re just blocked by the story that says they can’t.”That inner voice—whether it’s telling you you’re too new, too disorganized, or not ready—isn’t fact. It’s a story. And Kristen challenged us to confront it, question it, and rewrite it.
A Simple Framework for Change
- Cut the noise. Clear your schedule of low-value distractions.
- Name the standard. What are your non-negotiables?
- Act before you’re ready. If you already know the next right step—take it.
And if you’re struggling to begin, she left us with this question:
What are you hesitating on, even though you already know what to do?
From Goals to Action Steps
Kristen’s advice wasn’t abstract—it was practical. You don’t need a 20-page business plan. You just need a goal, a calendar, and the courage to take aligned action.
“Sometimes it’s as simple as: I need one listing agreement a week. That’s the bar. That’s the win.”
At KW New Orleans, we’re committed to conversations that push our agents beyond hustle and into intentional growth. Big thanks to Kristen Cronin for helping us slow down, reset, and move forward with purpose.
